Women in Critical Care

Women in Critical Care (WICC) is a subcommittee of SOCCA that is committed to advancing the careers and well-being of women in critical care anesthesiology.

WICC fosters professional growth through mentorship, sponsorship, and networking opportunities, while also supporting research, publication partnerships, and collaborative initiatives. We organize webinars and events focused on topics relevant to women in critical care and cultivate a vibrant, supportive community within SOCCA.

The group formally meets biannually to connect, plan initiatives, and share progress on ongoing projects.

As a WICC member, you’ll help drive our mission by contributing to ongoing initiatives—such as maintaining visibility on the SOCCA website and in the Interchange newsletter, curating a list of potential speakers and panelists, and collaborating with editors to pursue special issue authorship opportunities.

Join us in shaping a more inclusive and empowered future in critical care.
